Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland and a major hub of financial and banking activities of the country. With 400,028 population, the city is located at the north central site of Switzerland at Lake Zurich. Zurich is famous in the country for its excellent railway, roads and air traveling. Particularly, railway station and airport of Zurich are the busiest and the largest in Switzerland in terms of passenger traffic. Founded in 15 BC, Zurich has a long history that goes back to the Romans. After the settlements of Middle Ages, Zurich gained freedom under the law of imperial immediacy in which the state was declared to be a free form imperial rule.
